BRUINE SAUS

2 – 3 Bawang merah jang soedah di-iris2 haloes, toemis dengan 2 sendok mentega, djika bawangnya soedah 1/2 mateng, masuken 1 sendok makan tepoeng terigoe, adoek2 teroes sampai tepoengnja koening. Tuangi 2 tjangkir kaldoe sapi atawa ajam dan beberapa sendok tomaten puree, sedikit ketjap, boemboe2 pala, meritja, garam dan sedikit goela, seledri, kira2  2 batang prei biarken mendidih sebentar, laloe saring.
